Refund policy

At MySomna, we are committed to providing you with high-quality, sustainable outdoor and everyday gear. We hope you love your purchase, but we understand that sometimes an item just isn't right. If you need to return an item, we're here to help.

1. Your Rights Under UK Law

Our Return and Refund Policy is designed to be fair and transparent and to comply with the applicable laws in the United Kingdom, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please note that nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Faulty or Misdescribed Items

If you receive a faulty product, or if the product is not as described, you have a legal right to a refund, replacement, or repair. You can reject the item for a full refund within 30 days of receiving it. If the fault is discovered after 30 days but within six months, we will offer a repair or replacement. If a repair or replacement is not possible or is unsuccessful, you are entitled to a full or partial refund.

"Change of Mind" Returns (Consumer Contracts Regulations)

For items purchased online, you have a 14-day "cooling-off period" during which you can cancel your order for any reason and receive a full refund. This 14-day period begins the day after you receive your goods. Once you have notified us of your decision to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the items to us.

2. Our Returns Policy

In addition to your legal rights, we offer a generous 30-day return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you can return the product within 30 days of the delivery date for a full refund or exchange, provided it meets the following conditions:

  • The item must be in its original, unused condition, with all tags attached.
  • It must be in the original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (your order number) is required.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to our customer support team at contact@mysomna.com. Please include your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. We will review your request and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to return your package.
  3. Carefully pack the item in its original packaging and ensure all tags are attached.
  4. Ship the item to the return address we provide. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

4. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email notification. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 14 working days. Please note that it may take some time for the refund to be officially posted to your account or card.

5. Exchanges

We are happy to offer an exchange for an item of the same or different size, subject to stock availability. The same return conditions apply. Please indicate in your email whether you would like a refund or an exchange.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for a refund or return:

  • Gift cards.
  • Any product not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

7. Shipping Costs

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item is faulty. If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping is non-refundable, unless you are returning a faulty item or exercising your legal right to cancel within the 14-day cooling-off period.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company or bank. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@mysomna.com.
